Film Capture
All images are still being made with film capture in either 35 mm with Nikon F3
and F100 bodies or 120 on the Mamiya 645.
All subsequent processing is digital after scanning the film images . See the page on
scanning and techniques used.

Ilford Delta 400
Ilford SFX 200
Processing is in spiral tanks cooled to 64F with Ilford Perceptol at
1:1 dilution. I have found this combination creates the finest grain
and best tonal range for the work I typically do. Pulling tends to
lower contrast which is beneficial in SW USA desert light. It also
produces a negative more readily scanned.
Much of the analogue processing concerns of negative densities and contrast are mitigated with the digital dark room.
